DIY Hair Masks For All Your Hair Problems

Damaged hair is a common problem that most of us face. It can be due to the weather changes, pollution, heat styling and and many more reasons. FOR DRY AND FRIZZY HAIR

Dry hair needs nourishment and moisture. Many people who have dry hair experience frizziness as well. These two masks are amazing for dry hair and combats the frizziness that comes with it!

1) Avocado Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • _ cup of an avocado
  • _ tsp castor oil
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

How to use:

Mash the avocado in a bowl and add the oils to it. Blend all the ingredients together which will give you a smooth consistency. Apply onto hair and leave it on for 2 hours. Rinse and wash off with a mild shampoo.

2) Banana Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp organic coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh aloe vera

How to use:

Mash one banana and add to a blender with the coconut oil and aloe vera. Blend until it forms a smooth paste with no lumps. Apply on slightly damp hair from root to tips and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with shampoo followed with conditioner.

3) Ghee Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp ghee

How to use:

Apply it onto your scalp and ends of your hair, leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off.

FOR DANDRUFF

If you suffer from dandruff or an itchy scalp, these two masks are just for you. Both of these are an extremely effective treatment.

4) Coconut Oil and Cinnamon Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

How to use:

Mix the two into a paste and apply it into your scalp using your fingertips. Leave it on for half an hour and then wash it off.

5) Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 1 part apple cider vinegar
  • 3 parts water

How to use:

Mix the apple cider vinegar with water. After you shampoo your hair, apply it to your scalp and hair and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse off and condition as you normally would.

Sometimes extreme weather changes and pollution can cause hair fall. To improve the condition of your hair, you can use these simple hair masks that reduce hair fall and stimulate hair growth.

6)Yogurt and Honey Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey

How to use:

Mix yogurt and honey together and apply to damp hair from root to ends. Leave it on for an hour before washing it off.

7) Amla and Olive Oil Hair Mask

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp amla oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

How to use:

Mix the oils together and rub it in between your palms to warm it up. Massage the mixture onto the scalp and on dry hair. You can leave it on for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Then rinse it off with your regular shampoo and conditioner.

These masks will definitely help you get rid and treat any hair problems you might be experiencing. However, if the problem persists despite using these homemade masks, consult a good doctor. Also when doing any of these hair masks, use a chemical- sulfate free shampoo or else the hair masks will be ineffective.
